Since The Man started brewing beer from grain, we are finding ourselves with a lot of spent grain.
While I love hot, fresh, unadulterated popcorn, it's sometimes good to change things up by adding different flavours simply by stirring through different toppings. Here are our top favourites.

After I made the suggestion, an office I work in has changed to 100% recycled paper for printing. This small win reinforced for me how acting within your circle of influence can result in positive changes.

The problem I have with most strawberry jam is the cloying sweetness. So I experimented with adding lemon and lavender - both freely available here now - to the strawberry jam. And it made my perfect strawberry jam. The whole lemon - juice, pith and peel, adds a marmalade-y zing and pulls back the strawberries' sweetness, while the lavender adds punch and fragrance.
